1 - This Convention shall remain in force for an indefinite period of time.
1 - A presente Convenção permanecerá em vigor por um período de tempo indeterminado.
2 - After the expiration of a period of five years from the date of its entry into force, either Contracting State may terminate this Convention. The termination shall be notified in writing and through diplomatic channels, before the thirtieth day of June of a calendar year.
2 - Decorridos cinco anos da data de entrada em vigor, qualquer dos Estados Contratantes poderá denunciar a presente Convenção. A denúncia será mediante notificação por escrito e por via diplomática, até ao dia 30 de Junho de qualquer ano civil.
3 - In the event of termination, this Convention shall cease to have effect:
3 - Em caso de denúncia, a presente Convenção deixará de produzir efeitos:
a) in respect of taxes withheld at source, the fact giving rise to them appearing on or after the first day of January of the year next following that specified in the notice of termination;
a) Quanto aos impostos devidos na fonte, quando o facto gerador surja em ou depois de 1 de Janeiro do ano imediatamente seguinte ao ano especificado no aviso de denúncia;
b) in respect of other taxes, as to income arising in the fiscal year beginning on or after the first day of January of the year next following that specified in the notice of termination.
b) Quanto aos demais impostos, relativamente aos rendimentos produzidos no ano fiscal com início em ou depois de 1 de Janeiro do ano imediatamente seguinte ao ano especificado no aviso de denúncia.
In witness whereof the undersigned, duly authorized thereto, have signed this Convention.
Em testemunho do qual, os signatários, devidamente autorizados para o efeito, assinaram a presente Convenção.
Done in duplicate at Abu Dhabi this 17 day of January, 2011, in the Arabic, Portuguese and English languages, all texts being equally authentic. In case of any divergence of interpretation of the text of this Convention, the English text shall prevail.
Feito no Abu Dhabi, aos 17 dias do mês de Janeiro de 2011, em dois originais, nas línguas portuguesa, árabe e inglesa, sendo todos os textos igualmente válidos. Em caso de divergência de interpretação do texto da presente Convenção, prevalecerá o texto inglês.
