1. Registry fees and charges due for acts performed at the registry offices shall be paid at the same time as, or before, the application.

2. The person who files the registration or applies for the act must pay the amounts found to be due, including those relating to late performance of the obligation to register.
2 - Quem apresenta o registo ou pede o ato deve proceder à entrega das importâncias que se mostrem devidas, nestas se incluindo as relativas ao cumprimento tardio da obrigação de registar.
7. The registrar and any registry officer shall be competent to confirm the calculation of registry fee accounts.

8. Where the registry fees and charges due have not been paid and there has been no rejection, the registry office notifies the interested party by any appropriate means to pay the outstanding amounts within two days.
8 - Quando não forem pagos os emolumentos e taxas devidas e não tiver havido rejeição, o serviço de registo notifica o interessado por qualquer meio idóneo para, no prazo de dois dias, proceder à entrega das quantias em falta.
