1. Following the provision of assistance measures requested of Portugal by another Member State of the European Union, the Public Security Police (PSP) shall determine the amounts of the costs to be borne by that Member State and shall inform its central authority accordingly as soon as possible, sending the relevant accounting documentation.
1 - Na sequência da prestação das medidas de apoio requeridas por outro Estado-Membro da União Europeia a Portugal, a Polícia de Segurança Pública (PSP) apura os montantes dos encargos que deverão ser suportados por esse Estado-Membro e, logo que possível, informa em conformidade a respetiva autoridade central, remetendo a documentação contabilística pertinente.
2. Expenses for assistance measures provided by another Member State following a prior request made by the PSP shall be borne by the PSP in accordance with the applicable accounting rules and in the manner agreed with the central authority of the Member State concerned.
2 - As despesas com as medidas de apoio prestadas por outro Estado-Membro na sequência de prévio pedido formulado pela PSP são suportadas pela PSP segundo as regras contabilísticas aplicáveis e pela forma acordada com a autoridade central do Estado-Membro em causa.
Check that the PSP determines and claims costs from the requesting Member State and bears the costs of assistance it requested, under the agreed accounting arrangements.
