1. The collection and processing of photographs, facial images and dactyloscopic data for the purpose of identifying foreign nationals, nationals of Member States of the European Union, stateless persons and Portuguese nationals within the AIMA Integrated Information System (SII AIMA) and the UCFE Integrated Information System (SII UCFE) shall take place on the terms and for the purposes laid down in national law and in the rules applicable to the Schengen Information System, in compliance with the minimum data quality and security standards and the technical specifications laid down in those instruments and set out in an order (portaria) of the member of the Government to whom the Secretary-General of the Internal Security System reports and of the members of the Government responsible for internal administration and migration.
1 - A recolha e tratamento de fotografias, imagens faciais e dados dactiloscópicos para efeitos de identificação de estrangeiros, nacionais de Estados-Membros da União Europeia, apátridas e cidadãos nacionais no âmbito do SII AIMA e do SII UCFE verificam-se nos termos e para os efeitos previstos na lei nacional e na regulamentação aplicável ao Sistema de Informação de Schengen, e com respeito pelas normas mínimas de qualidade dos dados e de segurança e pelas especificações técnicas previstas nesses instrumentos e constantes de portaria do membro do Governo do qual depende o Secretário-Geral do Sistema de Segurança Interna e dos membros do Governo responsáveis pelas áreas da administração interna e das migrações.
2. The dactyloscopic data referred to in the preceding paragraph shall consist of:

a) 10 flat fingerprints and 10 rolled fingerprints;

b) Two palm prints, where the taking of a full set of fingerprints is impossible, or where the data are taken for the purposes of the prevention and investigation of crime;
b) Sobre duas impressões palmares, quando a recolha de impressões digitais completa seja impossível, ou efetuada para efeitos de prevenção e investigação criminal;
c) Two palm prints for third-country nationals who are required to return as a result of a criminal conviction or who have committed a criminal offence in the territory of the Member State issuing a return decision.
c) Sobre duas impressões palmares para os nacionais de países terceiros que estejam obrigados a regressar por força de condenação penal ou que tenham cometido uma infração penal no território do Estado-Membro que emite uma decisão de regresso.
