1. No valuer, permanent valuer, local valuer or regional valuer may take part in the valuation of their own property or of property in which an entity of which they are a director or staff member has an interest of any kind, nor of property in which their ascendants, descendants or relatives by blood or marriage up to the 4th degree of the collateral line have an interest.
1 - Nenhum perito avaliador, perito avaliador permanente, perito local e perito regional pode intervir na avaliação de prédios próprios ou em que seja interessada, a qualquer título, entidade de que seja administrador ou colaborador, nem de prédios em que sejam interessados seus ascendentes, descendentes ou parentes e afins até ao 4.º grau da linha colateral.
2. Valuations carried out in breach of the preceding paragraph are annulled ex officio or at the request of the interested parties.

3. Appointment as a regional valuer is not incompatible with appointment as a valuer, permanent valuer or local valuer.

4. No regional valuer may sit on a valuation committee of which an ascendant, descendant, sibling, uncle or aunt, or nephew or niece of theirs, or a relative by marriage of the same degree, is a member.

The impediments (own property, entities of which the valuer is a director or staff member, relatives up to the 4th degree of the collateral line), ex officio annulment, and the compatibility rule in paragraph 3 are retained.
