1. Authorisation for access to the international zone of ports is valid for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was granted.
1 - A autorização de acesso à zona internacional dos portos é válida pelo tempo estritamente necessário à concretização da finalidade que motivou a sua concessão.
2. Where the purpose and frequency of access so justify, an authorisation with a longer validity, not exceeding one year, may be granted.
2 - Sempre que a finalidade e a frequência do acesso o justifiquem, pode ser concedida autorização com validade mais alargada, não superior a um ano.
3. Persons authorised by the GNR to access the international zone of ports are issued with an access authorisation, the conditions of issue and form of which are approved by order (despacho) of the member of the Government responsible for internal administration.
3 - Às pessoas autorizadas pela GNR a aceder à zona internacional dos portos é emitida autorização de acesso cujas condições de emissão e modelo são aprovados por despacho do membro do Governo responsável pela área da administração interna.
4. The access authorisations referred to in the preceding paragraph are notified to the local office of the National Maritime Authority as soon as possible, for the purposes of control and of the security of persons and property in the port and on board ships or vessels.
4 - As autorizações de acesso, referidas no número anterior, são comunicadas ao órgão local da Autoridade Marítima Nacional, no mais curto espaço de tempo, para fins de controlo e segurança das pessoas e bens no porto e nos navios ou embarcações.
