1. The notifications referred to in the preceding article must be made, for each property that has undergone a change, on record slips (verbetes) in the form approved by the Minister of Finance, as follows:
1 - As comunicações a que se refere o artigo anterior devem ser feitas relativamente a cada prédio que tenha sofrido modificação em verbetes do modelo aprovado pelo Ministro das Finanças, nos termos seguintes:
a) If the change results from the division of the property, as many record slips are completed as there are properties resulting from the division;
a) Se a modificação for consequência da divisão do prédio, são preenchidos tantos verbetes quantos os prédios que resultarem da divisão;
b) Where the property is removed from the property register owing to total destruction or conversion from rural to urban, the record slip states only the owner’s name, the cadastral designation and the reason for the removal;
b) No caso de eliminação do prédio na matriz por destruição total ou transformação de rústico em urbano, o verbete indica apenas o nome do proprietário, a designação cadastral e o motivo da supressão;
c) Where rural properties are partly destroyed, or only partly converted into urban property, the preceding rules are followed accordingly;
c) Quando os prédios rústicos sejam parcialmente destruídos, ou só em parte se transformem em urbanos, procede-se em harmonia com as regras anteriores;
d) In the case of land consolidation or the merger of adjoining properties, one record slip is completed for each new unit formed, stating the owner’s name and the cadastral designations previously assigned to them.
d) No caso de emparcelamento ou de reunião de prédios confinantes, preenche-se um verbete por cada nova unidade constituída, com indicação do nome do proprietário e das designações cadastrais que lhes competiam.
2. The record slips are sent in the month following that in which any of the situations covered by the preceding rules occurred.
2 - A remessa dos verbetes é feita no mês seguinte àquele em que se tenha verificado qualquer das hipóteses abrangidas pelas regras precedentes.
3. Once checked, the record slips are sent by the competent service of the Directorate-General for Taxation (DGCI) to the Portuguese Geographic Institute (Instituto Geográfico Português) so that the plot maps can be amended.
3 - Os verbetes, depois de verificados, são remetidos pelo serviço competente da Direcção-Geral dos Impostos ao Instituto Geográfico Português, para alteração dos mapas parcelares.
