1. The communication of data must comply with the general provisions on the protection of personal data contained in Law No. 67/98 of 26 October and, in particular, respect the purposes for which consultation was authorised, limiting access to what is strictly necessary and not using the information for other purposes.
1 - A comunicação de dados deve obedecer às disposições gerais de protecção de dados pessoais constantes da Lei n.º 67/98, de 26 de Outubro, designadamente respeitar as finalidades para as quais foi autorizada a consulta, limitando o acesso ao estritamente necessário e não utilizando a informação para outros fins.
2. The consultation referred to in Article 78-F(3) is subject to the conclusion of a protocol with the Directorate-General of Registries and Notary, which defines its limits in the light of the legal and statutory functions of the entities concerned.
2 - A consulta referida no n.º 3 do artigo anterior depende da celebração de protocolo com a Direcção-Geral dos Registos e do Notariado, que define os seus limites face às atribuições legais e estatutárias das entidades interessadas.
3. The Directorate-General of Registries and Notary notifies the data-processing body of the protocols concluded so that it can arrange for consultation through a transmission line to be carried out on the terms and conditions set out in them.
3 - A Direcção-Geral dos Registos e do Notariado comunica ao organismo processador dos dados os protocolos celebrados a fim de que este providencie para que a consulta por linha de transmissão possa ser efectuada, nos termos e condições deles constantes.
4. The Directorate-General of Registries and Notary must send a copy of the protocols concluded to the National Data Protection Commission, and must do so electronically.
4 - A Direcção-Geral dos Registos e do Notariado remete obrigatoriamente à Comissão Nacional de Protecção de Dados cópia dos protocolos celebrados, devendo fazê-lo por via electrónica.
