1. The following may have direct access to the data referred to in Article 78-F(1) and (2):
1 - Podem aceder directamente aos dados referidos nos n.os 1 e 2 do artigo 78.º-F:
a) Judges and public prosecutors, in the performance of their functions;
a) Os magistrados judiciais e do Ministério Público, no âmbito da prossecução das suas atribuições;
b) Entities which, under procedural law, receive delegated powers to carry out acts of criminal investigation or pre-trial judicial investigation, or which are responsible for international cooperation in preventing and combating crime, within the scope of those powers;
b) As entidades que, nos termos da lei processual, recebam delegação para a prática de actos de inquérito ou instrução ou a quem incumba cooperar internacionalmente na prevenção e repressão da criminalidade e no âmbito dessas competências;
c) Entities with legal competence to ensure internal security and to prevent sabotage, terrorism, espionage and acts which, by their nature, may alter or destroy the constitutionally established rule of law, in the pursuit of their purposes.
c) As entidades com competência legal para garantir a segurança interna e prevenir a sabotagem, o terrorismo, a espionagem e a prática de actos que, pela sua natureza, podem alterar ou destruir o Estado de direito constitucionalmente estabelecido, no âmbito da prossecução dos seus fins.
2. The conditions for direct access by the entities referred to in the preceding paragraph are laid down by order (despacho) of the Director-General of Registries and Notary.
2 - As condições de acesso directo pelas entidades referidas no número anterior são definidas por despacho do director-geral dos Registos e do Notariado.
3. Entities authorised to have direct access to the data undertake to adopt all measures necessary for strict compliance with the security rules laid down in Law No. 67/98 of 26 October.
3 - As entidades autorizadas a aceder directamente aos dados obrigam-se a adoptar todas as medidas necessárias à estrita observância das regras de segurança estabelecidas na Lei n.º 67/98, de 26 de Outubro.
4. The persons referred to in paragraph 1(a) may act through officials designated by them.
4 - As entidades referidas na alínea a) do n.º 1 podem fazer-se substituir por funcionários por si designados.
The three categories of entities entitled to direct access to the data in Article 78-F(1) and (2), the conditions set by order of the Director-General, the security obligations and the power of judges and prosecutors to act through designated staff are retained.
