1. Where the rectification is not to be made under Article 85 or 86, the pendency of the rectification is annotated on the registration concerned, with reference to the entry of the initial application in the Daybook (Diário) or to the date on which the formal record establishing the inaccuracy was drawn up, as the case may be.
1 - Quando a rectificação não seja de efectuar nos termos dos artigos 85.º ou 86.º, é averbada ao respectivo registo a pendência da rectificação, com referência à anotação no Diário do requerimento inicial ou à data em que tiver sido levantado o auto de verificação da inexactidão, consoante os casos.
2. The annotation referred to in the preceding paragraph does not affect the running of the lapse period to which the registration to be rectified is subject.
2 - O averbamento a que se refere o número anterior não prejudica o decurso do prazo de caducidade a que o registo rectificando esteja sujeito.
3. Registrations of other facts subsequently made which depend, directly or indirectly, on the pending rectification are subject to the provisional status provided for in Article 64(2)(b), and Article 65(4) applies to them with the necessary adaptations.
3 - Os registos de outros factos que venham a ser lavrados e que dependam, directa ou indirectamente, da rectificação pendente, estão sujeitos ao regime de provisoriedade previsto na alínea b) do n.º 2 do artigo 64.º, sendo-lhes aplicável, com as adaptações necessárias, o disposto no n.º 4 do artigo 65.º
4. The annotation of pendency is cancelled ex officio upon a final decision refusing the rectification or declaring the procedure closed.
4 - O averbamento da pendência é oficiosamente cancelado mediante decisão definitiva que indefira a rectificação ou declare findo o processo.
The annotation of pendency where Articles 85 and 86 do not apply, the fact that it does not suspend the lapse period, the provisional status of dependent registrations under Article 64(2)(b) with Article 65(4), and ex officio cancellation upon a final decision are retained.
