1. Registration of the commencement, alteration and cessation of business of a sole trader, as well as of any change in their identification details, is effected on the basis of the declaration of the person concerned.
1 - O registo do início, alteração e cessação de actividade do comerciante individual, bem como da modificação dos seus elementos de identificação, efectua-se com base na declaração do interessado.
2. The document evidencing a change in the marital status or matrimonial property regime of a sole trader shall be archived together with the application for registration of that change.
2 - Com o pedido de registo de modificação do estado civil ou do regime de bens do comerciante individual deve ser arquivado o respectivo documento comprovativo.
3. Registration of the cessation of business of a sole trader is effected ex officio and free of charge, following the communication to the Institute of Registries and Notary (IRN, I. P.) of disqualification and removal decisions for the purpose of including that information in the database of disqualifications and removals.

P., das decisões de inibição e de destituição para efeitos de integração da informação na base de dados de inibições e destituições.
