The viability of an application for registration to be made by transcription must be assessed in the light of the applicable legal provisions, the documents filed and the previous registrations, with particular verification of the standing of the interested parties, the formal regularity of the title documents and the validity of the acts contained in them.

What we checked in this article

The three bases of assessment (applicable law, documents filed, previous registrations) and the three specific checks (standing, formal regularity of title documents, validity of the acts) are retained.

Registering an act under Article 47?

We file registrations at the commercial registry for foreign-owned companies: incorporations, share transfers, manager changes, capital changes, branches, filing of accounts and closures. In English, fixed fees, with the registry fee shown separately.

Unofficial English translation prepared by BCA Portugal for reference. Only the Portuguese text published in the Diário da República has legal force. Editorial notes are ours and are not part of the statute.
