1. Identification particulars and other relevant particulars contained in a passport or other valid travel document are proven as follows:
1 - Os elementos de identificação e outros elementos relevantes constantes de passaporte ou outro documento de viagem válido são comprovados nos termos seguintes:
a) Presentation of the document by means of an image captured in real time using a remote document verification system, followed by capture of a facial image to confirm identity using a biometric system, where the application is submitted through a digital channel or through assisted digital service, in the information system supporting the activity of the Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum (AIMA);
a) Apresentação do documento através de uma imagem captada em tempo real com recurso a sistema de verificação de documentos à distância, e posterior recolha da imagem do rosto para confirmação da identidade com recurso a sistema biométrico, quando o pedido seja apresentado em canal digital ou através de atendimento digital assistido, no sistema de informação de suporte à atividade da AIMA, I. P.;
b) Presentation of the physical document, whenever the application is submitted in person.
b) Apresentação do documento em suporte físico, sempre que o pedido seja apresentado em atendimento presencial.
2. Where the travel document is presented in physical form, its data are collected as provided in paragraph 1(a), with the necessary adaptations.
