1. Information proving the holding of a grant or its continuation, or the exercise of a scientific research activity, and other legally required information relating to them, is proven by consulting the databases of the public or private entities awarding the grant, or of officially recognised research centres.
1 - A informação comprovativa da titularidade de bolsa ou da respetiva manutenção ou do exercício de atividade de investigação científica, e a demais informação legalmente exigida relativamente às mesmas, é comprovada através de consulta às bases de dados das entidades concedentes da bolsa, públicas ou privadas, ou dos centros de investigação oficialmente reconhecidos.
2. Where it is not possible to access the information as provided in the preceding paragraph, it shall be proven, as applicable, by a declaration issued by a competent entity attesting to the employment relationship, the service-provision relationship, the award of a scientific research grant or the conclusion of a hosting agreement, in compliance with Article 51(8).
2 - Quando não seja possível aceder à informação nos termos previstos no número anterior, deve a mesma ser comprovada, consoante os casos, através de declaração emitida por entidade competente que ateste o vínculo laboral, a relação de prestação de serviços, a concessão de bolsa de investigação científica ou a outorga de convenção de acolhimento, com respeito pelo disposto no n.º 8 do artigo 51.º
