2. Information on lawful stay in national territory, when an application for an extension of stay or for the grant or renewal of a residence permit is submitted, is also proven by access to the AIMA Integrated Information System (SII AIMA).

3. Where it is not possible to access the information as provided in the preceding paragraph, or where additional evidence needs to be submitted, information on lawful entry into national territory is proven by presenting the passport or other valid travel document bearing the relevant stamps.
3 - Quando não seja possível aceder à informação nos termos previstos no número anterior, ou exista necessidade de apresentação de elementos complementares, a informação sobre a entrada legal em território nacional é comprovada através da apresentação do passaporte ou de outro documento de viagem válido com aposição dos respetivos carimbos.
