1. Information proving the pursuit or continuation of studies, including mobility, attendance of a professional traineeship and the pursuit or continuation of voluntary service, and other legally required information relating to them, is proven, as applicable, by consulting the official databases of the government departments responsible for education, higher education and labour.
1 - A informação comprovativa do exercício ou manutenção da atividade estudantil, incluindo mobilidade, de frequência de estágio profissional e do exercício ou manutenção de atividade de voluntariado, e a demais informação legalmente exigida relativamente aos mesmos, é comprovada, consoante os casos, através de consulta às bases de dados oficiais das áreas governativa da educação, do ensino superior e do trabalho.
2. Where it is not possible to access the information as provided in the preceding paragraph, it shall be proven, as applicable, by a declaration issued by the educational establishment or by the entity responsible for the training or for the voluntary service programme, in compliance with Article 51(8).
2 - Quando não seja possível aceder à informação nos termos previstos no número anterior, deve a mesma ser comprovada, consoante os casos, através de declaração emitida pelo estabelecimento de ensino, pela entidade responsável pela formação ou pelo programa de voluntariado, com respeito pelo disposto no n.º 8 do artigo 51.º
3. The holder of a study grant awarded by Camões – Institute for Cooperation and Language (Instituto Camões) is exempt from proving enrolment, payment of tuition fees, adequate sickness cover and means of subsistence.
3 - O beneficiário de bolsa de estudo atribuída pelo Camões - Instituto da Cooperação e da Língua, I. P. (Instituto Camões, I. P.), está dispensado da demonstração da matrícula, do pagamento das propinas, da proteção adequada na eventualidade de doença e dos meios de subsistência.
4. A higher education student admitted to a higher education institution approved under Article 91(5) of Law No. 23/2007 of 4 July, as amended, is exempt from proving payment of tuition fees and means of subsistence.
4 - O estudante do ensino superior admitido em estabelecimento de ensino superior aprovado nos termos do n.º 5 do artigo 91.º da Lei n.º 23/2007, de 4 de julho, na sua redação atual, está dispensado da demonstração do pagamento das propinas e dos meios de subsistência.
5. For the purposes of paragraphs 3 and 4, Instituto Camões and the higher education institutions communicate those situations electronically in the AIMA Integrated Information System (SII AIMA), in terms to be defined by protocol.
5 - Para efeitos dos n.os 3 e 4, o Instituto Camões, I. P., e os estabelecimentos de ensino superior comunicam as referidas situações por via eletrónica no SII AIMA, nos termos a definir por protocolo.
6. Where it is not possible to access the information as provided in the preceding paragraph, those entities transmit it to the Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum (AIMA) in a declaration issued in compliance with Article 51(8) and sent by secure digital means, in terms to be defined by protocol.
6 - Quando não seja possível aceder à informação nos termos previstos no número anterior, as referidas entidades transmitem-na à AIMA, I. P., em declaração emitida com respeito pelo disposto no n.º 8 do artigo 51.º, enviada por meio digital seguro, nos termos a definir por protocolo.
7. The preceding paragraphs apply to extensions of stay.
