1. Registration by transcription comprises the registration file of the entities subject to registration, together with the entries, annotations and notes of facts relating to them.

2. Without prejudice to the following paragraph, registration by filing covers the archived documents and the mention of them on the registration record sheet.

3. Registration by filing of facts relating to holdings and their holders may be made in a manner different from that provided for in the preceding paragraph, under terms to be laid down by order (portaria) of the Minister of Justice.
3 - O registo por depósito dos factos relativos a participações sociais e respectivos titulares pode ser efectuado de modo diverso do previsto no número anterior, nos termos a definir por portaria do Ministro da Justiça.
4. The date of a registration by transcription is the date of filing or, if the registration does not depend on a filing, the date on which it takes place.
4 - A data do registo por transcrição é a da apresentação ou, se desta não depender, a data em que tiver lugar.
5. The date of a registration by filing is the date of the application for it.
5 - A data do registo por depósito é a do respectivo pedido.
6. For the purposes of the preceding paragraph, the date of the application for registration of the filing of accounts is the date of the electronic payment for it.
