1. No fact relating to a sole trader, a legal person subject to registration or an individual limited liability establishment (EIRL) may be registered unless the registration of the commencement of business of the sole trader, or of the formation of the legal person or of the limited liability establishment, has been made.
1 - Nenhum facto referente a comerciante individual, pessoa colectiva sujeita a registo ou estabelecimento individual de responsabilidade limitada pode ser registado sem que se mostre efectuado o registo do início de actividade do comerciante individual ou da constituição da pessoa colectiva ou do estabelecimento de responsabilidade limitada.
2. The preceding paragraph does not apply to registrations arising from insolvency proceedings.

3. Where the registered office of a European public limited-liability company (SE) is transferred to Portugal, the first registration relating to that company is the registration of the amendment of the statutes resulting from that transfer, without prejudice to the preceding paragraph as regards registrations arising from insolvency proceedings.
3 - No caso de transferência da sede de sociedade anónima europeia para Portugal, o primeiro registo referente a essa sociedade é o da alteração dos estatutos decorrente de tal transferência, sem prejuízo do disposto no número anterior quanto aos registos decorrentes do processo de insolvência.
4. The first registration gives rise to the registration file of the sole trader, the legal person or the individual limited liability establishment.
4 - Do primeiro registo decorre a matrícula do comerciante individual, da pessoa colectiva ou do estabelecimento individual de responsabilidade limitada.
