1. The official competent for registration is the registrar or, when acting in that capacity, the registrar’s legal substitute, without prejudice to the following paragraph.
1 - O funcionário competente para o registo é o conservador ou o seu substituto legal, quando em exercício, sem prejuízo do disposto no número seguinte.
2. Registry officers are competent for the following registration acts:

a) Those provided for in points (m), (o) and (s) of Article 3(1);
a) Os previstos na alíneas m), o) e s) do n.º 1 do artigo 3.º;
c) That provided for in point (c) of Article 5, and the appointment and termination of office of liquidators of public undertakings;
c) O previsto na alínea c) do artigo 5.º e a designação e cessação de funções dos liquidatários das empresas públicas;
e) Those referred to in points (d) and (i) of Article 7;
e) Os referidos nas alíneas d) e i) do artigo 7.º;
f) Those provided for in points (d) and (h) of Article 8;
f) Os previstos nas alíneas d) e h) do artigo 8.º;
g) Amendments to the articles of association or to the statutes;
g) As alterações ao contrato ou aos estatutos;
i) Other registration acts for which the registrar has delegated competence to them.

3. Registry officers are also competent to draw up the abstracts of registration acts.

4. The mention of a filing may be made by the applicants themselves where the application is submitted electronically, under the terms of an order (portaria) of the Minister of Justice.
