1. Forced removal and expulsion may not be carried out to any country in which the foreign national may be persecuted on grounds which, under the law, justify the grant of the right of asylum, or in which the foreign national may be subjected to torture or inhuman or degrading treatment within the meaning of Article 3 of the European Convention on Human Rights.
1 - O afastamento coercivo e a expulsão não podem ser efetuados para qualquer país onde o cidadão estrangeiro possa ser perseguido pelos motivos que, nos termos da lei, justificam a concessão do direito de asilo ou onde o cidadão estrangeiro possa sofrer tortura, tratamento desumano ou degradante na aceção do artigo 3.º da Convenção Europeia dos Direitos do Homem.
2. To benefit from the safeguard provided for in the preceding paragraph, the person concerned must invoke the fear of persecution and submit the relevant evidence within the time limit granted to them.

3. In the cases referred to in the preceding paragraph, the person concerned is sent to another country that accepts them.
