1. A forced removal decision issued by the National Director of the PSP may be challenged before the administrative courts, with non-suspensive effect.

2. The preceding paragraph is without prejudice to the foreign national’s right to use the urgent or suspensive proceedings provided for in the law on administrative procedure in the courts.
2 - O disposto no número anterior não prejudica o direito do cidadão estrangeiro de recorrer aos processos urgentes ou com efeito suspensivo, previstos na lei processual administrativa.
3. The foreign national is entitled, on request, to legal protection, with Law No. 34/2004 of 29 July applying, with the necessary adaptations, under the rules laid down for the appointment of defence counsel for a defendant (arguido) for urgent procedural steps.
3 - O cidadão estrangeiro goza, a pedido, de proteção jurídica, aplicando-se com as devidas adaptações a Lei n.º 34/2004, de 29 de julho, no regime previsto para a nomeação de defensor do arguido para diligências urgentes.
4. At the request of the person concerned, translation and interpretation services may be provided for the purposes of the judicial challenge referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2.
