1. Following mutual consultations with the requesting Member State, within the limits of available resources and in accordance with the applicable international standards, all support measures necessary to ensure that the third-country national has departed shall be provided.
1 - Em função de consultas mútuas com o Estado membro requerente, no limite dos meios disponíveis e de harmonia com as normas internacionais aplicáveis, são prestadas todas as medidas de apoio necessárias para garantir que o nacional do Estado terceiro partiu.
2. The support measures referred to in the preceding paragraph consist of:

a) Meeting the third-country national at the aircraft and escorting them within the transit airport area, in particular to the connecting flight;
a) Receber o nacional de Estado terceiro na aeronave e escoltá-lo dentro da área do aeroporto de trânsito, nomeadamente até ao voo de ligação;
b) Providing emergency medical treatment to the third-country national and, if necessary, to their escort;
b) Prestar tratamento médico de emergência ao nacional de Estado terceiro e, se necessário, à sua escolta;
c) Providing food for the third-country national and, if necessary, for their escort;
c) Assegurar a alimentação do nacional de Estado terceiro e, se necessário, da sua escolta;
d) Receiving, keeping and forwarding travel documents, in particular in the case of unescorted removal measures;
d) Receber, conservar e transmitir os documentos de viagem, nomeadamente no caso de medidas de afastamento sem escolta;
e) In cases of unescorted transit, informing the requesting Member State of the place and time of the third-country national’s departure from national territory;
e) Nos casos de trânsito sem escolta, informar o Estado membro requerente do local e da hora da partida do nacional de Estado terceiro do território nacional;
f) Informing the requesting Member State of any serious incident occurring during the transit of the third-country national.
f) Informar o Estado membro requerente da ocorrência de algum incidente grave durante o trânsito do nacional de Estado terceiro.
3. Mutual consultations under paragraph 1 are not required for the provision of the support measures referred to in point (b) of the preceding paragraph.
3 - Não é necessária a realização de consultas mútuas nos termos do n.º 1 para a prestação das medidas de apoio referidas na alínea b) do número anterior.
4. Without prejudice to the readmission of the third-country national, where the transit operations cannot be ensured despite the support provided in accordance with paragraphs 1 and 2, all support measures necessary to continue the transit operation may be taken, at the request of and in consultation with the requesting Member State, and that operation may be carried out within forty-eight hours.
4 - Sem prejuízo da readmissão do nacional de Estado terceiro, nos casos em que não possa ser assegurada a realização das operações de trânsito, apesar do apoio prestado de harmonia com os n.os 1 e 2, podem ser tomadas, a pedido de e em consulta com o Estado membro requerente, todas as medidas de apoio necessárias para prosseguir a operação de trânsito, a qual pode ser realizada no prazo de quarenta e oito horas.
5. The requesting Member State shall be provided with information on the costs incurred for the services provided under paragraph 2(b) and (c), and on the criteria for quantifying the other costs actually incurred referred to in paragraph 2.
5 - É facultada ao Estado membro requerente informação sobre os encargos suportados com os serviços prestados nos termos das alíneas b) e c) do n.º 2, bem como sobre os critérios de quantificação dos demais encargos, efectivamente suportados, referidos no n.º 2.
6. Support shall be given for the readmission of the third-country national by the requesting Member State whenever such readmission takes place.
6 - É concedido apoio à readmissão do nacional de Estado terceiro pelo Estado membro requerente, sempre que esta tenha lugar.
