The Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum (AIMA) may, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, consult the posts of the diplomatic and consular network whenever, in examining applications for the grant or renewal of residence permits for investment activity and related family reunification, it requires additional information on the means of proof submitted or on other specific objective elements of the application that need to be verified in the applicant’s country of provenance or of last habitual residence.

What we checked in this article

Check that AIMA acts through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that the provision covers grant and renewal applications including related family reunification, and the countries where verification may take place.

Applying the law

Visa and residence files, with the company side in order

Most refusals come from a missing document or an inconsistency between the contract, the payroll and the tax records. Tell us the route you are applying for, and we will check the company documents the Regulation requires.
