1. Where immovable property in respect of which tax was deducted is not used for the purposes of the business for 1 or more complete calendar years after the beginning of the 19-year period referred to in Article 24(2), an annual adjustment of 1/20 of the deduction made is required, which must be included in the return for the last period of the year to which it relates.
2. The annual adjustment provided for in the preceding paragraph also applies in the case of immovable property in respect of which the tax incurred on its construction, acquisition or other related capital expenditure was initially deducted in full or in part, where that property is allocated to one of the uses referred to in Article 21(1)(d).
The annual 1/20 adjustment for each complete calendar year of non-business use within the 19-year period of Article 24(2), its extension to property allocated to the uses in Article 21(1)(d), and the one-off adjustment under Article 24(5) on cessation are retained.
