1. Taxable persons who issue invoices under Article 40 and do not use integrated computerised invoicing and accounting systems may record the transactions carried out each day with non-taxable persons as the global amount of the consideration received for taxable supplies of goods and services, tax included, and the amount of the consideration relating to non-taxable or exempt transactions.

2. The record referred to in the preceding paragraph shall be made no later than the first working day following that on which the transactions were carried out, on the basis of copies of the invoices issued, daily reports produced by electronic equipment covering all transactions carried out, or cash sheets, which may replace that record provided that they unambiguously show a single daily total.

3. The daily records referred to in the preceding paragraphs shall be entered in the accounts or classified under Article 50, as the case may be, within the time limit laid down in Article 45.

5. The option of preparing cash sheets referred to in paragraph 2 does not remove the obligation to keep the copies of the invoices and the other documents referred to there, under the conditions and for the period laid down in Article 52.
