1. A residence permit shall be granted to third-country nationals for the purpose of carrying out a teaching activity at a higher education institution or at an educational or vocational training establishment, a highly qualified activity or a cultural activity who, in addition to the conditions laid down in Article 77, also meet the following conditions:
1 - É concedida autorização de residência a nacionais de Estados terceiros para efeitos de exercício de uma atividade docente em instituição de ensino superior ou estabelecimento de ensino ou de formação profissional, de atividade altamente qualificada ou de atividade cultural que, para além das condições estabelecidas no artigo 77.º, preencham ainda as seguintes condições:
a) They hold an employment contract or a contract for the provision of services compatible with the teaching or highly qualified activity;
a) Disponham de contrato de trabalho ou de prestação de serviços compatível com a atividade docente ou altamente qualificada;
b) A letter of invitation issued by an educational or vocational training institution;
b) Carta convite emitida por instituição de ensino ou de formação profissional;
c) They submit a statement of responsibility from a company certified as defined in an order (portaria) of the members of the Government responsible for migration, the economy and administrative modernisation; or
c) Apresentem termo de responsabilidade de empresa certificada nos termos definidos em portaria dos membros do Governo responsáveis pelas áreas das migrações, da economia e da modernização administrativa; ou
d) They are collaborating in a cultural activity carried out in national territory under a project recognised by the member of the Government responsible for culture as being of interest to the country.
d) Estejam a colaborar em atividade cultural exercida em território nacional no âmbito de um projeto reconhecido pelo membro do Governo responsável pela área da cultura como de interesse para o País.
2. The applicant is exempt from the residence visa requirement whenever they have entered and stayed legally in national territory.
