Article 74 Types of residence permit

1. There are two types of residence permit:

1 - A autorização de residência compreende dois tipos:

a) Temporary residence permit;

a) Autorização de residência temporária;

b) Permanent residence permit.

2. A residence card is issued to a foreign national authorised to reside in Portuguese territory.

2 - Ao cidadão estrangeiro autorizado a residir em território português é emitido um título de residência.
